HONG KONG SHAX THEATRE GROUP

Though Covid-19 has posed unprecedented challenges to arts theatre, like all artists, educationalists and communities, HKSTG is devoted to maintain community engagement using all resources available. Our committee team members have devised and will continue devising new and innovative strategies to engage our current members in arts, theatre and literature events, as well as reaching out to new recruits through social media and our established mass email channels through local universities.

So far, we have conducted online readings, produced media contents and organised small group workshops while observing social distancing and gathering measures. Between Jan 2020 to July 2020, we have recruited more than fifty new members, with more new members to come as we prepare to embark on a cross-university campaign in late July, after the release of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE).

To meet the changing demand in social media contents and online presence, HKSTG has recruited additional manpower to join our committee.
